Title: ANOVA: Single Factor Analysis of Online streaming services platforms.
Author: Aryan Choudhary
Introduction: Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO Max are popular streaming services. Netflix has original shows and movies. Disney+ has Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars content. Amazon Prime Video has a mix of original and licensed content. HBO Max has premium shows and curated content. These platforms offer a variety of entertainment options.
Objective: To find out if there are significant differences in the preferences (ratings) for the online streaming services platforms Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO Max .
Data Collection: We collected preference ratings between 1 to 10, 1 being least preferable and 10 being highest favorable, for the following online streaming services platforms: Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO Max , from 27 students. We then analyzed these 4 variables using ANOVA to compare the mean preference ratings among the different platforms.

Null Hypothesis (H0): There is no significant difference in the average ratings between the four online streaming services platforms Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO Max. All are the same.
Alternate Hypothesis (H1): There is a significant difference in the average ratings between at least one pair of the four online streaming services platforms Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO Max. Any one of them is different.
According to the ANOVA – Table 1, the P value is 1.23, which is more than the significance level (0.05). This indicates that we would accept the null hypothesis and reject the alternate hypothesis.
Conclusion
As we accept the null hypothesis and reject the alternate hypothesis we can state that there is sufficient evidence to conclude that all the online streaming services platforms have the same average rating. Therefore, all are the same.
