It offers a wide range of management courses, including the flagship MBA program. IIMA consistently ranks among the top business schools globally for its quality of education, research, and industry partnerships.
Faculty of Management Studies (FMS): Delhi is one of India’s premier business schools, known for its affordable MBA program and high return on investment. FMS specializes in management education with a strong focus on leadership, strategy, and entrepreneurship. Its proximity to industry and exceptional placement records makes it a top choice for MBA aspirants.
SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR):
SPJIMR is known for its focus on value-based education, offering various MBA programs. It stands out for its unique pedagogy, combining classroom learning with social projects.
Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI): XLRI is one of India’s oldest business schools, known for its strong human resources management program and its emphasis on social responsibility and ethical leadership.
Objective: Find out whether all B School are the same or not.
Data Collection: Primary data was collected in a classroom setting, with 27 students participating. The students provided ratings on a scale of 1 to 10. The collected data was subsequently analyzed, and an ANOVA table was generated for further statistical interpretation.
Data Analysis:
- Null Hypothesis (Ho): All B-schools (IIM-A, FMS, SPJIMR, and XLRI) have the same mean.
- Alternative Hypothesis (H1): At least one of the B-schools’ means is different.
Summary Statistics:
- IIM-A: Average = 9.00, Variance = 0.692308
- FMS: Average = 8.30, Variance = 1.139601
- SPJIMR: Average = 7.00, Variance = 3.076923
- XLRI: Average = 7.15, Variance = 4.669516
ANOVA (Analysis of Variance):
- Between Groups:
- Sum of Squares (SS) = 73.87963
- Degrees of Freedom (df) = 3
- Mean Square (MS) = 24.62654
- Within Groups:
- Sum of Squares (SS) = 249.037
- Degrees of Freedom (df) = 104
- Mean Square (MS) = 2.394587
- F-value = 10.28426
- P-value = 5.49E-06 (0.00000549)
Critical Value (F crit) = 2.691979
Conclusion:
- F-value (10.28426) is greater than the critical value F crit (2.691979).
- P-value (0.00000549) is less than 0.05 (commonly used significance level).
Thus, we reject the null hypothesis (Ho). This means that there is a statistically significant difference between the means of at least one B-school compared to others. Therefore, we can conclude that not all B-schools have the same mean performance; at least one of the schools is different from the rest.
