Introduction:
In-person classes provide immediate feedback and foster deeper engagement through face-to-face interaction. The structured environment enhances accountability and discipline, positively impacting academic performance. Additionally, the collaborative atmosphere cultivates a sense of community, motivating students to participate actively. Overall, these factors contribute to a more effective learning experience compared to online classes.
Objective:
To understand the effectiveness of in-person versus online classes.
Literature Review:
Face-to-Face Interaction Enhances Learning: According to a study published in E-School News, classroom teaching provides real-time interaction and immediate feedback, which are essential for student engagement and comprehension. The physical presence of teachers and peers creates a supportive environment that promotes collaboration and motivation, ultimately enhancing academic performance (E-School News, 2024).
Development of Interpersonal Skills: An article from LearnWorlds emphasizes that traditional classrooms cultivate essential interpersonal skills that are vital for future employment. In-person learning allows for direct communication and teamwork, which are often lacking in online settings. This face-to-face interaction fosters a sense of community and accountability among students, positively impacting their motivation and confidence (LearnWorlds, 2022).
