Youngsters commonly encounter disruptions in their sleep cycle due to factors such as irregular schedules, excessive screen time before bed, and stress from academic or social pressures. These challenges often lead to difficulties falling asleep, resulting in insufficient rest and impacting their overall well-being and cognitive function. Understanding and addressing these issues are crucial for promoting healthier sleep habits among young individuals.

Literature Review
Quality sleep is essential for teens’ well-being, yet many don’t get enough due to late schedules and screen time. This affects academics and emotional health. Teens can improve sleep habits, and parents can advocate for later school start times and stress management.
Sleep is vital for adolescents’ health, impacting growth, learning, and mental well-being. However, factors like delayed sleep phase syndrome and excessive media use can lead to sleep difficulties. Poor sleep is linked to obesity, mental health disorders, and accidents. Recognizing and addressing sleep issues is crucial for their overall health.
Data collection
For the above problem 5 questions were framed to be answered on likert scale with 1 to 5 points.
100 students from KBS were surveyed and for each question which was quoted, mean, standard
deviation, standard error, and t-stat were calculated.
Data Analysis
Q1 | Q2 | Q3 | Q4 | Q5 | |
Mean | 4.21 | 4.13 | 4.06 | 4.01 | 4.36 |
Standard Deviation | 0.98 | 1.03 | 0.94 | 1.09 | 0.96 |
Standard Error | 0.10 | 0.10 | 0.09 | 0.11 | 0.10 |
T – Stat | -26.5 | -24.96 | -27.83 | -23.59 | -26.92 |
Result | Negative | Negative | Negative | Negative | Negative |
The t-stat of all questions is negative as it is less than 1.96.
