Introduction:
This survey is taken for looking towards opinion of students when they looking towards new business startups, also their interest and how they look towards business environment
Objective:
To understand the underline phenomenon of the problem ‘To know the opinion of the new entrepreneur’.
Literature Review:
1: A study on perception and attitude of management students towards startups
The results of this research revealed that majority of students from management programs are Highly interested in the start-ups of a new business rather than a job because they think that entrepreneurship Is an honourable profession, they are almost always investors. They can become a business leader. Students Have better ideas about their career prospects.
2: Student Perceptions on Business Opportunities and Barriers for Business Start-Up
The study concluded that majority of the students were interested and optimistic in starting their own business. However, these students lacked knowledge regarding starting new business. The willingness of students to start a new business with established entrepreneurs was observed. The major obstacles faced by students in treading an entrepreneurial path were unwillingness and fear of failure.
Data Collection:
A survey questionnaire was designed with questions related to opinion of students when they looking towards new business startup. The Liker scale was used to gather responses from the students, ranging from “Strongly Agree” to “Strongly Disagree”. The questions aimed to assess the students Opinion of students when they looking towards new business startup. A random sample of 100 college students was selected to participate in the survey to ensure a representative representation of the student population.
Data Analysis:
Upon completing the survey, the collected data was subjected to statistical analysis. The mean, standard deviation (SD), and standard error (SE) were calculated for each survey question (Q1–Q5). The mean represents the average response on the Likert scale, while the standard deviation provides a measure of the variability in the responses.
Hypothesis Testing:
To test the hypotheses, a significance level of 0.05 (95% confidence level) was chosen. The critical value for a two-tailed test at a 95% confidence level is Z = 1.96. Z value was calculated based on the mean, standard error.

Confidence Level is taken at 95% i.e. Z=1.96.
Conclusion:
- Students opinion is that they haven’t enough practical knowledge that’s why they don’t start new business.
- Students are neutral with financial issues.
- Students are neutral with taking risk in new startup.
- Students are neutral towards they want to gain more practical knowledge.
- Students are neutral towards the start own business.
