Introduction:

 Analysis of 4 Languages.

1.     English

English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. It is used as an international language for communication, education, business, and technology. English originated in England and is now spoken in many countries like the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia. In India, English is commonly used in higher education and professional work. It is also considered an important language for global communication.

2.     Hindi

Hindi is one of the official languages of India and is spoken by a large number of people in the country. It is written in the Devanagari script and is widely used in government, education, and daily communication. Hindi plays an important role in connecting people from different states of India. It is also used in Indian movies, television, and media. Many people in India understand and speak Hindi.  

3.     Marathi

Marathi is the official language of the state of Maharashtra in India. It is also written in the Devanagari script and has a rich history of literature and culture. Marathi is mainly spoken by people living in Maharashtra and nearby regions. It is commonly used in schools, government offices, and daily life in the state. Marathi language reflects the traditions and culture of Maharashtra.

4.     German

German is a popular European language mainly spoken in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It is one of the most important languages in science, engineering, and research. German language has a strong grammar structure and is widely taught as a foreign language in many countries. Many students learn German for higher education and job opportunities in Europe. It is also known for its rich literature and history.

Objective: To Compare Languages by the way of One Way ANOVA.

Literature Review:

The Importance of Multilingualism in Modern Society.

This article explains how multilingualism plays a crucial role in today’s globalized world. It highlights that knowing multiple languages improves communication, cultural understanding, and career opportunities. The study also shows that multilingual individuals have better cognitive flexibility and problem-solving skills. In countries like India, where many languages coexist, multilingualism strengthens national unity and social harmony.

Language and Cultural Identity

This article focuses on the relationship between language and cultural identity. It explains how language is not just a communication tool but also a way to preserve traditions, values, and heritage. The article discusses how losing a language can lead to the loss of cultural identity. It also emphasizes the importance of preserving regional languages like Marathi and Hindi in a rapidly globalizing world.

Data Collection: Students of our Batch were requested to grade the following 4 Languages English, Hindi, Marathi and German on the scale of 1-10. One-way ANOVA was calculated.

Hypothesis:

H0: All Language are equal (A=B=C=D)

H1: Any one of the Language is different.

Mean square between (MS): 0.422, Mean Square Within (MS):1.103, P-value: 0.765, DF: 115(Between Groups and Within Group), F crit : 2.686

Conclusion: The P- value of 0.765 is greater than the significance level of 0.05; which means all languages are same.
