Literature Review

Article 1:
According to Nie (2019), the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) plays an important role in promoting regional cooperation in space science and technology among its member countries. The study highlights APSCO as a platform that supports joint space programs, data sharing, and capacity building, especially for developing nations in the Asia-Pacific region. However, the article also points out legal and institutional challenges, emphasizing the need for stronger governance mechanisms to ensure fair participation and effective implementation of multinational space projects.

Article 2:
Another study on APSCO focuses on its contribution to advancing space technology and applications for socio-economic development in member states. The article emphasizes APSCO’s efforts in satellite applications, disaster management, education, and training programs, which help enhance technical capabilities across the region. Despite these achievements, the study notes challenges related to coordination, resource allocation, and equitable benefit sharing, suggesting that institutional strengthening is essential for APSCO’s long-term success.

 Data Collection

Data for TCS LTD. And Nifty Fifty was downloaded from Nse website from the period 1/12/2024 to 30/11/25. Friday closing prices were found out. Weekly returns of nifty and TCS Ltd. Were calculated. Weekly returns of nifty were taken as X and weekly return of TCS Ltd. Were taken as Y. Y was regressed on X.

Data Analysis

                          Intercept              X

Equation= (0.906686638) + (1.154818911)

N = 48

R2 = 0.419165706

F = 33.19643

P-Value = 6.58E-07 or 0.000000658

The above equation shows the relationship between the dependent variable Y and the independent variable X. The positive sign indicates that there is a direct relationship, which means if X increases, the dependent variable also increases and vice versa. If X increases by 1 unit, the dependent variable will increase by 1.15 units. The Tstats for X is 5.76 and the P-value is 0.000000658, which is less than 0.01, so X is statistically significant at the 1% level. N is 48, so the number of observations is 48. R2 is 0.419, which means 41.9% of the variation in the dependent variable is explained by X, while the remaining 58.1% is the error due to variables not included in the model. The F-value is 33.196 and the P-value is 0.000000658, which is less than 0.01, therefore overall, the model is statistically significant at the 1% level.

Conclusion

Since the β value is greater than 1, that is 1.15 the company is suitable for short-term investment when the Nifty is expected to rise.
