Introduction: HP is an American Multinational information technology company headquartered in Palo Alto, California, that develops a personal computers, printers, and related suppliers. Lenovo is a Chinese multinational technology company specializing in manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics. Dell is an American company headquartered in Round Rock, Texas, dell is owned by parent company, dell technology. Acer is a Taiwanese multinational company that produces computer hardware and electronics, headquartered in New Taipei City, Taiwan. As of 2024, Acer is the world 6th personal computer vendor by unit sales.[4]

 

Objective: To compare the four famous laptop brands

 

Data Collections: Student from ITM were told to rate the four fashion brands from the scale of 1 to 10 were 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest using the google form and then one way ANOVA was calculated using the excel and data analysis tool.

The ANOVA table shows the results of the analysis. The between Group source of variation has a sum of square (SS) of 54.52 and 3 degrees of freedom (df) of 3, which results in a mean square (MS) of 18.17333333. The within groups source of variation has a ss of 345.84 and df of 96 which results in the MS of 3.6025. The F-value for between groups source is 5.044644923, which has a small f crit of 2.699392598. This indicates that there is a statistically significant difference between the means of the groups.

 

HO: – All are same

H1: – Any of them is different

 

The P-value is 0.0027 which is less than 0.05 which means we have to accept alternate hypothesis (H1) with the degree of freedom 3 and 96.

 

Conclusion: H1- Anyone of the 4 famous laptop brand is different.
