INTRODUCTION:

A college library is a cornerstone of academic life, serving as a central hub for knowledge, research, and intellectual growth. It provides a vast collection of books, journals, articles, and other resources, offering students, faculty, and researchers the tools they need to explore diverse subjects and deepen their understanding. Beyond its core function as a repository of information, a college library plays a vital role in fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and lifelong learning. It provides a quiet and conducive environment for studying and research, while also offering opportunities for engagement through workshops, lectures, and cultural events. In essence, a college library is more than just a place to borrow books; it is a catalyst for intellectual curiosity and academic success.

OBJECTIVE:

 Familiarization with Library Resources, Develop students’ ability to identify, locate, evaluate, and utilize relevant research materials. Teach students effective research strategies and techniques.

Review:

Today, with the rapid advancement of technology, Artificial Intelligence have become omnipresent across sectors like e-commerce, travel, hospitality, banking, EdTech, etc.; but they still haven’t been predominantly adopted by academic libraries. This paper reports on a qualitative study aimed to explore the perceived risks and challenges behind the adoption of libraries and how chatbots could help deliver superior experience to all library users as well as stakeholders.

DATA COLLECTION:

Following 5 questions were framed on Likert Scale and students of ITM Skills University, were surveyed and the data was coded as 1 for strongly agree and 5 for strongly disagree, for each question mean, standard deviation, standard error and Z-scores were calculated.

DATA ANALYSIS:

For Data Analysis we have used Descriptive statistics and z-scores. Here are the following results of the analysis.

CONCLUSION

  1. Student strongly agree towards the environment of collage library.
  2. Students are positive for the availability of books available in the library.
  3. Students strongly agree for the helpfulness of the library staffs.
  4. Student agree towards the library timings.
  5. Students are neutral for the return policy of books of library.
