Title: Experience of students on Tiffin service food quality.

Introduction: Tiffin service is plagued by issues like as subpar food and insufficient options,
which leaves students dissatisfied. It’s not particularly clean either, and punctuality can be an
issue at times. For other students, the high expense of the meals becomes a challenge. They
also use materials that are harmful to the environment. They need more affordable rates, better
meals, cleaner facilities, and simpler transportation to address this. Everyone will benefit from
an improved tiffin service as a result of these adjustments.
Objectives: To understand the underlying phenomena of this problem.
Literature review: Tiffin service provider helping those Students who are busy in their hectic
life, and do not get enough time to prepared their own food. They provide healthy, tasty, and
nutritious food to student.
Testing of Hypothesis:
Ho: μ=4
H1: µ≠4
Data collection:
1. What level of satisfaction do you have with the tiffin service’s food quality?
2. What level of satisfaction do you have with the tiffin’s hygiene?
3. To what extent are you happy with the food’s freshness?
4. Do you get a variety of food offered to you?
5. Are you happy with the times for Tiffin?
These 5 questions are asked in google form to students and for every question standard
deviation, standard error, mean and t-stat was calculated.
Data analysis:
1. What level of satisfaction do you have the tiffin service’s food quality
S.D.=1.18 S.E.=0.58 Mean=2.04 t-stat=-3.39
2. What level of satisfaction do you have with the tiffin’s hygiene?
S.D.=1.2 S.E.=0.55 Mean=2.19 t-stat=-3.29
3. How satisfied are you with the freshness of the food?
S.D.=1.19 S.E.=0.53 Mean=2.23 t-stat=-3.32
4. Are you served with variety of food?
S.D.=1.27 S.E.=0.56 Mean=2.28 t-stat=-3.08
5. Are you satisfied with the mess timings?
S.D.=1.43 S.E.=0.48 Mean=2.99 t-stat=-2.11
Conclusion:
1. What level of satisfaction do you have the tiffin service’s food quality?
• t-stat is -3.39 which means we reject the null hypothesis and t is negative less than 1.96.
It means canteen food quality is not good.
2. What level of satisfaction do you have with the tiffin’s hygiene?
• t-stat is -3.29 which means we reject the null hypothesis and t is negative less than 1.96.
It means hygiene is not good.
3. How satisfied are you with the freshness of the food?
• t-stat is -3.32 which means we reject the null hypothesis and t is negative less than 1.96.
It means freshness of food is not good.
4. Are you served with variety of food?
• t-stat is -3.08 which means we reject the null hypothesis and t is negative less than 1.96.
It means variety is not there.
5. Are you served with variety of food?
• t-stat is -2.11 which means we reject the null hypothesis and t is negative less than 1.96.
It means mess timing is not up to the mark.
