Introduction:
In this analysis 4 Mobile companies have been taken, namely:
- Xiaomi
Xiaomi, a Chinese electronics manufacturer founded in 2010, is the world’s third-largest smartphone maker, with a 12% market share as of 2023. It’s known for its MIUI software and a diverse product range, including smartphones and household appliances. Xiaomi keeps prices competitive by extending product lifecycles and using inventory optimization and flash sales strategies. The company has gained recognition as the “Apple of China” and boasts over 500 million monthly active users on its MIUI platform.
- Samsung
Samsung is a massive South Korean conglomerate headquartered in Suwon, South Korea. It encompasses a wide range of businesses under the Samsung brand, making it the largest business conglomerate in South Korea. Founded in 1938 as a trading company, Samsung has expanded into various industries over the years, including electronics, construction, and shipbuilding. Some of its notable affiliates include Samsung Electronics (the world’s largest IT and consumer electronics company), Samsung Heavy Industries (a major shipbuilder), and Samsung Engineering and Samsung C&T Corporation (construction companies). Additionally, it has subsidiaries in insurance, theme parks, and advertising. As of 2020, Samsung is among the top global brands in terms of brand value.
- Motorola
Motorola, Inc. was a major American telecommunications company founded in 1928, headquartered in Illinois. It changed its name from Galvin Manufacturing Corporation in 1947. In 2011, it split into two companies: Motorola Mobility and Motorola Solutions. Motorola was known for wireless network equipment, home and broadcast products, and wireless phones. It played a significant role in the development of cellular phones, including iconic models like the RAZR. Eventually, its phone division became Motorola Mobility, while other businesses joined Motorola Solutions.
- Apple
Apple Inc. is a major American tech company based in Cupertino, California, and it’s the largest tech company by revenue, with over $394 billion in 2022. As of March 2023, it’s the world’s largest company by market capitalization. Apple is known for its computers, iPhones, and other innovative products. It was founded in 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne. Although it faced challenges in the 1980s and 1990s, it made a remarkable comeback under Steve Jobs, introducing iconic products like the iMac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad. Apple is also notable for being the first U.S. company to reach a $1 trillion valuation in 2018 and has consistently been one of the world’s most valuable brands. However, it has faced criticism for various issues, including labor practices, environmental concerns, and business ethics.
Objective: To Compare 4 Mobile companies by the way of One Way ANOVA.
Data Collection: Students of our Batch were requested to grade the following Mobile companies on the scale of 1-10 and One-way ANOVA was calculated.

H1: Any one of Mobile companies is different.
