Introduction:
Analysis of 4 Power Companies taken by me, namely:
- Tata Power Company Limited
Tata Power is a major Indian integrated power company and a subsidiary of the Tata Group, one of India’s largest and most respected business conglomerates. Tata Power is involved in various aspects of the power sector, including generation, transmission, distribution, and renewable energy. The company is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and has a significant presence both within India and internationally. Tata Power is known for its commitment to sustainability and renewable energy initiatives, contributing to India’s growing energy needs while promoting environmental responsibility.
- East India Distilleries (EID) Parry Limited
East India Distilleries (EID) Parry Limited, commonly known as EID Parry, is a well-established Indian company with a history dating back to the 18th century. It is part of the Murugappa Group, a prominent conglomerate in India. EID Parry is primarily involved in the sugar, bio-products, and nutraceuticals sectors.
- NTPC Limited
NTPC Ltd, which stands for National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, is one of India’s largest and most prominent state-owned power generation companies. It is considered a Maharatna company, a status conferred by the Government of India to select public sector enterprises for their significant size and operational excellence. NTPC was founded in 1975 and has since played a crucial role in India’s energy sector.
- Adani Power
Adani Power Limited is a prominent Indian power generation and distribution company that is part of the Adani Group conglomerate. It operates a diverse portfolio of power generation assets, including thermal, solar, and renewable energy projects. Adani Power is headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and plays a vital role in meeting India’s energy demands while also expanding its presence in renewable energy to contribute to sustainability goals.
Objective: To Compare 4 Power Companies by the way of One Way ANOVA.
Data Collection: Students of our Batch were requested to grade the following Power Companies on the scale of 1-10 and One-way ANOVA was calculated.

Hypothesis:
H0: All Power Companies are equal (A=B=C=D)
H1: Any one of the Power Company is different.

Result: Table F=0.05, 3 DF, 76 DF = 2.72
As Calculated F = 1.02 is less than tabulated F= 2.72, accept H0 & reject H1 ,which means all Power companies are equal.
