Introduction
Nowadays, OTT platforms have become a big part of our daily entertainment. People use platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, Jio Hotstar, and Sony LIV to watch movies, series, and live content. Each platform offers different types of content, pricing, and user experience. So, it is important to understand whether users actually feel a difference between these platforms or not.
Objective
The main objective of this study is to compare different OTT platforms using user ratings and check whether there is any significant difference among them with the help of ANOVA.
Literature Review
Previous studies suggest that the popularity of OTT platforms depends on factors like content quality, subscription price, and ease of use. Also, statistical tools like ANOVA are useful when we want to compare more than two groups at the same time.
Data Collection
The data for this study was collected through a Google Form survey. Each platform received 32 responses. Respondents rated platforms on a scale of 1 to 10. Platforms included: Netflix, Prime Video, Jio Hotstar, and Sony LIV.

ANOVA Result
F value = 0.974414
F critical = 2.677699
P-value = 0.407157
Hypothesis
H0: All OTT platforms are rated equally
H1: At least one platform is rated differently
Conclusion
Since the F value is less than the F critical value, we accept the null hypothesis. This means that there is no significant difference in the ratings of Netflix, Prime Video, Jio Hotstar, and Sony LIV. In simple words, users feel that all these platforms are almost similar in terms of performance and experience.
