  2. INTRODUCTION
    1. The impact of timetables on students’ academic achievement has been a hot topic in recent years due to its importance in the teaching and learning process [1].
    2. Timetable is a document which tells how college resources, such as faculties and classrooms fit together with student schedules as well as with days of the week.
    3. Sometimes, the sudden changes in the timetable may affect the students’ overall schedule which they plan according to the set timetable given to them.
    4. So, to consider the overall problems of the students, we design a set of questionnaires with the help of Likert scale (or linear scale in the Google Form) so that we can come to know how much of the problems students face while scheduling their daily routine.
    5. Likert Scale is a type of “close-ended question” used to measure attitudes, opinions, or feelings. Instead of simple “Yes/No”, it gives a range of options so that you can see that how much someone agrees or disagrees with the statement. It usually has 5 or 7 points. It always has a “Neutral” or “Middle” point for people who don’t have a strong opinion.
  3. OBJECTIVE
    1. To understand underlying issue of student’s overall performance over changes in the time-table.
  4. LITERATURE REVIEW
    1. Nwonkwo and Dede (2024) investigated the relationship between managing time-table and its effect on students’ academic performance in public secondary schools in the Ikwerre Educational Zone, Rivers state. The study recommended that principals and teachers should effectively manage consolidated timetable to enhance students’ academic performance in both public and private schools and teachers should utilize teachers-wise time table in order to enhance students’ academic performance in both public and private schools.
    2. Singh S et al (2025) describes about completely variable slot-based timetable which will boast the flexibility of allowing the student to choose his schedule according to his choice of faculty and convenience. He can choose any course under his branch.
  5. DATA COLLECTION
    1. Following 5 questions are framed on Likert Scale
      1. I am able to manage my time effectively whenever there is lecture from 8:30AM – 6:30PM.
      2. I am not able to plan my schedule due to frequent last-minute changes in the timetable.
      3. I am not able to concentrate, gain productivity, or motivation because of sudden schedule changes.
      4. I am able to get sufficient time for self-study, assignments, and personal activities.
      5. I will be able to improve my overall learning experience on campus if more structured and stable timetable is prepared.
    2. A Google form was framed with linear scale (1-5).
    3. Data was coded as
      1. 5 –> Strongly Agree
      2. 4 –> Agree
      3. 3 –> Neutral
      4. 2 –> Disagree
      5. 1 –> Strongly Disagree
    4. 104 students of ITM were surveyed and data was downloaded as excel sheet. For each question, mean, standard deviation, standard error, and t-stat was calculated.
