Literature Review
Article 1:
According to Nie (2019), the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) plays an important role in promoting regional cooperation in space science and technology among its member countries. The study highlights APSCO as a platform that supports joint space programs, data sharing, and capacity building, especially for developing nations in the Asia-Pacific region. However, the article also points out legal and institutional challenges, emphasizing the need for stronger governance mechanisms to ensure fair participation and effective implementation of multinational space projects.
Article 2:
Another study on APSCO focuses on its contribution to advancing space technology and applications for socio-economic development in member states. The article emphasizes APSCO’s efforts in satellite applications, disaster management, education, and training programs, which help enhance technical capabilities across the region. Despite these achievements, the study notes challenges related to coordination, resource allocation, and equitable benefit sharing, suggesting that institutional strengthening is essential for APSCO’s long-term success.
Data Collection
Data for Nestle LTD. And Nifty Fifty was downloaded from Nse website from the period 1/12/2024 to 30/11/25. Friday closing prices were found out. Weekly returns of nifty and Nestle Ltd. Were calculated. Weekly returns of nifty were taken as X and weekly return of Nestle Ltd. Were taken as Y. Y was regressed on X.
Data Analysis
Intercept X
Equation= 2.122194 + 1.322587
N = 48
R2 = 0.024728
F = 1.166341
P-Value = 0.285784
The above equation shows the relationship between the dependent variable Y and the independent variable X. The coefficient of X is positive (1.32), which indicates a direct relationship, meaning if X increases, Y also tends to increase. Specifically, if X increases by 1 unit, the dependent variable Y is expected to increase by approximately 1.32 units. However, the T-statistic for X is 1.079 and the P-value is 0.2857, which is greater than 0.01 and 0.05. Therefore, X is not statistically significant, meaning there is no strong statistical evidence that X has a real impact on Y. The number of observations (N) is 48. The R² value is 0.0247, which means only 2.47% of the variation in the dependent variable Y is explained by X, while the remaining 97.53% variation is due to other variables not included in the model. The F-statistic value is 1.166 and the Significance F value is 0.2857, which is greater than 0.01 and 0.05. Therefore, the overall model is not statistically significant at the 1% or 5% level.
Conclusion
Since the β value is greater than 1, that is 1.32, the company is theoretically suitable for short-term investment when the Nifty is expected to rise; however, as the beta is not statistically significant
