Literature Review –
Article 1:
According to Nie (2019), the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) plays an important role in promoting regional cooperation in space science and technology among its member countries. The study highlights APSCO as a platform that supports joint space programs, data sharing, and capacity building, especially for developing nations in the Asia-Pacific region. However, the article also points out legal and institutional challenges, emphasizing the need for stronger governance mechanisms to ensure fair participation and effective implementation of multinational space projects.
Article 2:
Another study on APSCO focuses on its contribution to advancing space technology and applications for socio-economic development in member states. The article emphasizes APSCO’s efforts in satellite applications, disaster management, education, and training programs, which help enhance technical capabilities across the region. Despite these achievements, the study notes challenges related to coordination, resource allocation, and equitable benefit sharing, suggesting that institutional strengthening is essential for APSCO’s long-term success.
Data Collection –
Data for KSB LTD and nifty fifty was downloaded from NSE website from the period 1/12/2024 to 30/11/2025 Friday closing prices were found out. Weekly returns of nifty and KSB Ltd. Were calculated weekly returns of nifty were taken as x and weekly return of KSB Ltd. Were taken as Y. Y was regressed on X.
Data Analysis –
Intercept X
Equation = (0.363086882) + (0.913101334)
N = 48
R² = 0.1580
F = 8.6325
P-value = 0.005147
The above regression equation shows the relationship between the dependent variable Y and the independent variable X. The positive sign of the coefficient indicates that there is a direct relationship between X and Y, which means if X increases, the dependent variable also increases and vice versa.
If X increases by 1 unit, the dependent variable Y increases by approximately 0.91 units. The t-statistic for X is 2.94 and the P-value is 0.005147, which is less than 0.01. Therefore, X is statistically significant at the 1% level.
The number of observations (N) is 48, which indicates that the regression analysis is based on 48 data points. The R² value is 0.158, which means 15.8% of the variation in the dependent variable is explained by X, while the remaining 84.2% is due to other variables not included in the model. The F-value is 8.6325 and the P-value is 0.005147, which is less than 0.01. Hence, the overall model is statistically significant at the 1% level.
Conclusion –
Since the β value is positive (0.91), the company shows a positive response to market movements. Therefore, the company is suitable for short-term investment when the Nifty is expected to rise.
