Gamini Gunawardane ( 2023 )
Gamini Gunawardane explained the importance of customer experience (CX) is recognized in financial services, but academic research hasn’t kept pace. A survey of papers in key finance journals (2015-2020) found 25% focused on customer satisfaction (CS) related issues, but only 1% addressed CX directly. Most CX research is stuck in a static, traditional view, neglecting the modern dynamic customer journey. Industry reports and conferences prioritize CX, highlighting a gap between academic research and industry needs. Researchers should focus on modern CX concepts to bridge this gap.

6) Data Analysis: Regression equation with T stat for B.
R2, F = P Value
0.058, 0.26813 = 0.60707
Explanation – The above regression equation explains the relationship between equity returns (dependent variable) and NIFTY returns (independent variable).
The coefficient of NIFTY return (Beta) is −0.4827, which indicates a negative relationship between equity returns and NIFTY returns. This means that if the NIFTY return increases by 1 unit, the equity return is expected to decrease by approximately 0.48 units, and vice versa. However, this relationship is very weak.
The t-statistic for Beta is −0.51781 and the corresponding p-value is 0.60707. Since the p-value is much greater than 0.05, the Beta coefficient is not statistically significant. This implies that NIFTY returns do not have a meaningful impact on equity returns in this model.
The R-square value is 0.058, which means that only 5.8% of the variation in equity returns is explained by NIFTY returns, while the remaining 94.2% variation is due to other factors not included in the model.
The F-statistic is 0.26813 with a p-value of 0.60707, which indicates that the overall regression model is statistically insignificant. Hence, the model does not provide sufficient evidence to conclude that NIFTY returns explain equity returns.
7) Conclusion: If β is negative avoid this company.
