Objective: To compare four different types of Football Players preferences.
Data collection:
Individual participants provided ratings for Messi, Ronaldo, Pele and Maradona on a scale of 1 to 10. Each rating was collected independently to reflect personal preferences, ensuring an unbiased analysis of Fans choice and preference across the players.
Data analysis:
The ratings were then compiled to analyse consumer preferences using ANOVA: single factor, allowing for statistical evaluation of differences in players preferences.
The hypothesis for the test are:
- Null Hypothesis (H0): It states that all players preferences are the same.
- Alternative Hypothesis (H1): It indicate that at least one players is rated significantly differently.

Since the P-value is 0.045 is less than the significance level of 0.05, we accept the Alternative Hypothesis.
Conclusion:
The ANOVA: single factor analysis yielded a P-value less than 0.05, leading to rejecting the Null Hypothesis. This confirms that at least one player—Messi, Ronaldo, Pele or Maradona—has a significantly different preference level among respondents.
