Introduction: Bollywood, India’s vibrant film industry, has seen a surge of talented young actors who have captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Among these rising stars, Kartik Aaryan, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, and Sidharth Malhotra have made significant strides with their versatile performances and charismatic screen presence.
Objective: To find out if there are significant differences in the preferences of ITM students for the Bollywood Actors Kartik Aaryan, Sidharth Malhotra, Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal.
Data Collection: Students of ITM Business School were surveyed. Each student rated four Bollywood Actors Kartik Aaryan, Sidharth Malhotra, Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 indicates low preference and 10 indicates high preference. The ratings for each actor were recorded for analysis.
Data Analysis: The ANOVA: Single Factor test was performed to compare the means of the ratings across the four Actors.
The hypotheses for the test are:
- Null Hypothesis (H0): There is no significant difference in the average ratings between the Bollywood actors.
- Alternate Hypothesis (H1) :There is a significant difference in the average ratings between at least any 2 Bollywood Actors.

Since the P-value (0.6659) is greater than the standard significance level of 0.05, we accept the null hypothesis.
Conclusion: As we accept the Null Hypothesis, we can say that there is no statistically significant difference in the average rating of 4 Bollywood actors.
