Title: ANOVA Analysis of Football players
INTRODUCTION: This report analyses the performance and popularity of four prominent football players—Lionel Messi (Argentina), Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal), Neymar Jr. (Brazil), and Kylian Mbappé (France)—using a one-way ANOVA to determine whether there are significant differences in fan preferences. By examining these results, we aim to understand the unique attributes that contribute to each player’s fan base satisfaction and identify areas for improvement. The findings will deepen our understanding of fan preferences and inform quality assessments within the football industry.

OBJECTIVE: To compare fan ratings across four football players (Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr., and Kylian Mbappé) in terms of overall performance and fan preference, we aim to identify significant differences in their quality and popularity.
DATA COLLECTION: To gather relevant data, a survey was conducted among a finance class. Participants rated each player on a scale of 1 to 10, enabling us to capture their opinions and ratings for the four players. The collected data was then analyzed to assess differences in ratings among the players, providing insights into their relative strengths and areas of fan preference.

HYPOTHESIS:
Null Hypothesis (H0): There is no significant difference in the fan ratings.
Alternative Hypothesis (H1): There is a significant difference in the fan ratings.
CONCLUSION: As the P-value of the hypothesis is 0.00572, which is less than 0.05, we accept the Alternative hypothesis, meaning at least one of the clubs is significantly different.
Based on the ANOVA results, there is sufficient evidence to conclude that there are significant differences in fan rating among the four football players. This suggests that at least one of the players has significantly different performance and fan preference compared to the others.
