Data analysis:

The ratings were then compiled to analyse consumer preferences using ANOVA: single factor, allowing for statistical evaluation of differences in biscuit preferences.

The hypothesis for the test are:

  • Alternative Hypothesis (H1): It indicate that at least one biscuit is rated significantly differently.

Since the P-value is 0.0208 is less than the significance level of 0.05, we accept the Alternative Hypothesis.

Conclusion:

The ANOVA: single factor analysis yielded a P-value less than 0.05, leading to rejecting the Null Hypothesis. This confirms that at least Biscuit- Marie, Parle-G, Good-Day, Bourbon has a significantly different preference one beverage level among respondents.
