Introduction: Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, and Xiaomi (Mi) are some of the most prominent mobile phone brands globally, each offering unique strengths. Apple is renowned for its premium iPhones and seamless ecosystem. Samsung excels with innovation in both flagship and foldable phones. OnePlus offers high-performance devices at competitive prices, appealing to tech enthusiasts. Xiaomi (Mi) delivers feature-packed smartphones at affordable prices, popular in budget-conscious markets

Objective: To find out if there are significant differences in the preferences (ratings) for mobile phones brands like Apple, Samsung, One plus, Mi.

Data Collection: We collected preference ratings between 1to 10,1 being least preferable and 10 being highest preferable, for the following mobile phones brands: Apple, Samsung, one plus, Mi from 21students. We then analyzed these 4 variables using ANOVA to compare the mean preference ratings among different mobile phones brands.

Null Hypothesis (HO): There is no significant difference in the average ratings between 4 mobile phones brands: Apple, Samsung, one plus, MI. All are the same.

Alternate Hypothesis(H1): There is a significant difference in the average ratings between at least one pair of mobile phones brands Apple, Samsung, One plus, MI. One of them is different.

According to Anova Table1 the P value is 0.1934 which is more than the significance value that is 0.05. This indicates we would accept null hypothesis and reject alternate hypothesis.

Conclusion: As we accept null hypothesis and reject the alternate hypothesis This means that there is no significant difference in the average ratings between mobile phones brands, therefore all are same.
