Introduction: It is a survey report that represents analysis of the ratings given by students of four shoe brand

  1. Nike: is an American athletic footwear and apparel corporation headquartered near Beaverton,  Oregon, United States. It is the world’s largest supplier of athletic shoes and apparel and a major manufacturer of sports equipment, with revenue in excess of US$46 billion in its fiscal year 2022.
  2. Adidas: is a German athletic apparel and footwear corporationheadquartered in HerzogenaurachBavaria, Germany. It is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe, and the second largest in the world, after Nike. It is the holding company for the Adidas Group, which also owns an 8.33% stake of the football club Bayern München, and Runtastic, an Austrian fitness technology company. Adidas’s revenue for 2018 was listed at €21.915 billion
  3. Sketchers: Skechers USA, Inc.is an American multinational footwear and apparel company. Headquartered in Manhattan Beach, California, it was founded in 1992 and is the third largest footwear brand in the United States.
  4. Puma: Puma SEis a German multinational corporation who design and manufacture athletic and casual footwear, apparel, and accessories, headquartered in HerzogenaurachBavariaGermany. Puma is the third largest sportswear manufacturer in the world.

 

Objective: To compare ratings of 4 shoe brands.

Data Collection: The data was collected through google form by giving rating on the scale of 1 to 10 of 4 shoe brand by 25 students of my class. Data collected was then put up in excel where Anova 1 factor or single factor test was performed from data analysis tool.

Data Analysis: the collected data was put up in excel where ANOVA single factor test was performed.

In this given table p value is less than 0.05 which means alternate hypothesis will be accepted.

We can see that  p value is less than 0.05 which means alternate hypothesis will be accepted.

Conclusion: This means that we have enough statistical evidence to support the alternative claim.
