Objective:
To understand the underlying issue of Impact of Instagram usage on student’s life.
Introduction:
In Today’s days Instagram become a crucial thing for Students. There are both Positive and negative Impact of Instagram. Main Impact of Instagram is that students use it frequently by just scrolling reels etc. because of this lifestyle of students is changed and students spend more time on Instagram.
Literature Review–
- Several studies highlight that Instagram facilitates social connectivity among students. According to Ellison et al. (2007), social media platforms like Instagram enhance communication and foster relationships, allowing students to maintain connections with peers, share experiences, and engage in group activities. However, the same studies indicate that excessive use can lead to superficial relationships, where online interactions replace face-to-face communication (Rosen et al., 2013)
 - The relationship between Instagram usage and academic performance presents a mixed picture. Some researchers, like Junco (2012), found that while moderate social media use can promote academic engagement and collaborative learning, excessive use often distracts students from their studies, leading to lower academic performance. A study by Lepp et al. (2014) confirmed that

time spent on social media, including Instagram, negatively correlated with students’ GPA, suggesting that balancing social media use is crucial for academic success.
