Title- Hostel facilities of ITM college.

Introduction- This research on the quality of hostel facilities at ITM college was conducted with the objective of identifying areas that may require improvement to enhance student satisfaction and promote a conducive living and learning environment. The basic facilities provided by the hostel collectively contribute to the overall experience of students residing on campus and have a direct impact on their physical and mental well-being.
Objective- To understand the underlying phenomenon of hostel facilities at ITM college.
Literature review-
Analysis of students’ satisfaction with hostel facilities–
This research paper analyzes student satisfaction with hostel facilities, focusing on food quality, cleanliness, water supply, and first aid, revealing significant relationships through statistical analysis.
A study of facilities provided by hostel management system using statistical techniques-
The literature on hostel management systems emphasizes student satisfaction with facilities, including cleanliness, food quality, water supply, and internet access. Data was collected through surveys and analyzed using statistical techniques.
Data Collection- To address the problem, five questions were framed using a Likert scale. A Google form was used to conduct a survey among the students of ITM College. The data collected was analyzed by calculating the mean, standard deviation, standard error, and Z-value.
The five questions are as follows:
- The food provided in the mess is good.
- The gym equipment is well-maintained.
- The hostel maintains a high level of cleanliness.
- The study environment is conducive to learning.
- The hostel staff treats students respectfully.

Conclusion- From the data analysis, we can conclude the following:
- The mess does not provide good food (Z = -5.37, Disagree).
- The gym equipment is not well maintained (Z = -4.18, Disagree).
- The hostel maintains a high level of cleanliness (Z = 3.13, Agree).
- The study environment is somewhat conducive to learning (Z = 1.43, Neutral).
- The hostel staff treat students respectfully. (Z = 6.61, Agree).
