Introduction
This report presents the findings from a comprehensive survey conducted to assess the quality of food and facilities provided in the hostel. The survey aimed to gather feedback from residents regarding their experiences with various aspects of hostel life, including meal options, cleanliness, maintenance, and overall satisfaction with the amenities available.
Objective
- Understand Satisfaction Levels: To measure the satisfaction levels of hostel residents with the food and facilities, identifying key areas of contentment or concern.
- Identify Areas for Improvement: To highlight specific areas of the food services or facilities that need improvement based on the residents’ feedback.

Review:
The hostel is usually used for the residence of students and travellers in some countries, but especially in our country, the hostel residential students of the universities and the warden & the other staff who are managed the hostels.
Data collection-
The survey was conducted among 100 hostel students to gather insights about their experiences with the food and facilities provided by the hostel. The data collection was carried out using a Google Form, which was distributed electronically to the students. The survey contained five carefully designed questions that aimed to capture the students’ satisfaction levels. questions were formed as I strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree & strongly disagree for each question.
The questions covered key aspects of the hostel’s food quality, variety, hygiene standards, and the overall state of the hostel facilities, including cleanliness, comfort, and maintenance. Responses were collected anonymously to encourage honest and candid feedback. This data was then compiled and analysed to identify trends and areas that require attention for enhancing the students’ living experience in the hostel.

CONCLUSION:
- Students do not like the quality of the hostel mess food.
- Students showed neutral responses with mean scores of 3.1 each, indicating that while these areas are not major sources of dissatisfaction, there is room for improvement.
- Student showed a neutral response for mess cleanliness it means there is room for improvement.
- Students feel secure in the hostel area because the mean is highest in hostel security but the result is neutral which shows there is also room for improvement.
- Students like the staff behaviour because our mean is the highest and our result also shows agree with staff behaviour.
