Introduction: – In recent years, concerns about air quality have risen to the forefront of public consciousness, driven by an increasing awareness of the environmental and health impacts associated with air pollution. As the global community grapples with the challenges posed by deteriorating air quality, it becomes imperative to gauge the sentiments of the public regarding this pressing issue. This report aims to provide a thorough analysis of the sentiments of the general population towards air quality, shedding light on their perceptions, concerns, and expectations.O

Objectives: – To understand the underlying phenomena of this problem.

Literature review: – The stakes taken by investors providing equity financing can be significant, and thus, profits going to the business owners are reduced. Even small common stock investors get a share of the profits. Moreover, investors may want to be consulted whenever you plan to make decisions that will impact the company. Equity markets are the meeting point for buyers and sellers of stocks. The securities traded in the equity market can either be public stocks, which are those listed on the stock exchange, or privately traded stocks. Often, private stocks are traded through dealers, which is the definition of an over-the-counter market.

These 5 questions were asked in Google form to students and for every question standard deviation, standard error, mean and t-stat was calculated.

Data analysis- 

Are you aware of the issue of lower air quality.

            MEAN= 2.99 SD= 1.096 SE= 0.109 T-STAT= -0.091

Do you have concerns about the impact of air quality.

      MEAN= 3.1 SD= 1.105 SE= 0.110 T-STAT= 0.905

Satisfied with government action on air quality

      MEAN= 3.14 SD= 1.064 SE= 0.106 T-STAT= 1.316

If you were given the opportunity, would you be willing to take steps to reduce air pollution.

MEAN= 3.24 SD= 1.280 SE= 0.128 T-STAT= 1.875

 

Would like more education on air quality

MEAN= 3.2 SD= 1.064 SE= 0.106 T-STAT= 1.880

 

Conclusion:

Are you aware of the issue of lower air quality.

T-stat is -0.085 which is between 1.96 and – 1.96 we accept the null hypothesis, and it is negative more than 1.96. It means people are neutral towards the statement.

T-stat is 0.816 which is between 1.96 and – 1.96 we accept the null hypothesis, and it is positively less than 1.96. It means people have concerns about the impact of air quality.

 

Satisfied with government action on air quality

T-stat is 1.316 which is between 1.96 and – 1.96 we accept the null hypothesis, and it is positively less than 1.96. It means people are satisfied with government action on air quality.

T-stat is 1.875 which is between 1.96 and – 1.96 we accept the null hypothesis, and it is positively less than 1.96. It means people are willing to take steps to reduce air pollution.
