2. Introduction : Job satisfaction in both government and private sectors is a crucial aspect that influences employees’ overall well-being and performance. In the government sector, job satisfaction is often linked to stability, job security, and the sense of contributing to public service. On the other hand, the private sector typically offers opportunities for career growth, higher salaries, and innovation, influencing job satisfaction differently.
3. Objective : To understand the underline issues of this problems.
4. Literature Review :
1. In 2015 Brown and Davis investigated the compensation structures in government and private jobs, revealing that while private sector jobs offered higher salaries, government jobs provided more comprehensive benefit packages.
2. In 2020 Turner and Reed delved into the concept of work-life balance, revealing that government jobs were perceived as providing better work-life balance due to regular working hours.

6. Data collection :
1. A Govt job with less salary say 100k is preferred more over a private job say 300k. Do you agree?
2. Reservation in Govt job unlike private job, based on caste, religion or sex should be removed. Do you agree?
3. Govt. jobs are often perceived to offer a better work life balance.
4. Private sector jobs are believed to provide more rapid career growth opportunities. Do you agree?
5. Govt. jobs are considered to contribute to higher job satisfaction. Do you agree?
These 5 questions are asked in google form to students and for every question standard deviation, standard error, mean and t-stat was calculated and they were coded as:
Strongly agree- 5, Agree – 4, Neutral – 3, Disagree – 2, Strongly Disagree – 1
