Introduction: – As the global landscape evolves, the role of education as a catalyst for personal and societal progress becomes increasingly evident. At the heart of this evolution lies a fundamental question: should education be more affordable? This research report embarks on a journey to dissect the intricate facets of this discourse. By scrutinizing economic implications, individual aspirations, and the overarching societal impact, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the complexities surrounding the affordability of education. Join us as we navigate through the maze of opinions and data, seeking insights that could pave the way for a more accessible educational paradigm.

 

Objective: – To understand underlying phenomena of this problem.

 

Literature review: – The existing literature on education affordability presents a multifaceted landscape. Economic perspectives highlight the potential positive impact on workforce productivity, while concerns about compromising educational quality are raised. From a social justice standpoint, scholars emphasize the role of accessible education in mitigating societal inequalities. Individual experiences vary, with some studies emphasizing the psychological deterrent of high costs and others underscoring the empowerment effect. Global perspectives reveal diverse models of affordable education but concerns about sustainability and potential budgetary strain also emerge. This literature review underscores the need for a nuanced approach in our research, recognizing the various dimensions that contribute to the ongoing discourse on the affordability of education.

 

Testing of Hypothesis: – Ho: μ=3

                                         H1: µ≠3

 

Data collection: –

  1. Education costs significantly impact my ability to pursue higher education.
  2. I believe the government should play a larger role in subsidizing education costs.
  3. I am concerned that reducing education costs might negatively impact the quality of education.
  4. I think making education more affordable would have positive societal impacts.
  5. Based on my personal experience, I believe education should be more affordable.

We have prepared a questionnaire, consist of five different questions related to aur problem. Later we circulated the form and collected data from 100 students through Google forms and for every question standard deviation, standard error, mean and t-stat was calculated.

 

Data analysis: –

Conclusion: –

  1. Education costs significantly impact people’s ability to pursue higher education.
  2. People believe the government should play a larger role in subsidizing education costs.
  3. People do not concern that reducing education costs might negatively impact the quality of education.
  4. People think making education more affordable would have positive societal impacts.
  5. Based on People’s experience, People believe education should be more affordable.
