Introduction: Navigating the delicate equilibrium between academic responsibilities and personal well-being is an intricate challenge faced by students in today’s fast-paced educational landscape. As students strive to meet the demands of rigorous coursework, they concurrently grapple with the imperative to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. This delicate juggling act prompts an exploration into the multifaceted experiences of students as they endeavour to harmonize academic pursuits with the preservation of their mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
Objective: To understand the underlying phenomena of Balancing Academic Workload and Personal Well-being.

This chapter delves into the often unnoticed challenges faced by academics, such as anxiety, stress, and depression. It explores factors like demanding student expectations, declining public regard for academia, and precarious employment conditions. The chapter highlights the importance of maintaining work-life balance and suggests practical strategies for staying refreshed. It also emphasizes the need for personal and institutional support to address overwhelming workloads and systemic issues, encouraging a healthier academic environment.

The study investigated how college students perceive academic workload and well-being. Findings suggest neglecting student health can have life-threatening consequences. All RUB colleges now have a ‘Happiness and Well-being Centre’ for student support. The College must address concerns about campus facilities, workload, assignments, faculty, and social life to prevent long-term consequences. Some issues may not surface until later in life, emphasizing the need for immediate attention.
Data Collection: We have formed five sentence question and we have asked 100 students of Finance Batches on a Likert scale where Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Neutral, Agree, and Strongly Agree where the options based on which mean, standard deviation, Standard error, and T-stat/Z was calculated. This data was primarily collected by us.

Conclusion:
Q1. Balancing schoolwork and personal well-being is challenging for me.
Result: For question 1 accept the alternative hypothesis as t-stat = 3.61 which is more than 1.96. Therefore, people find balancing schoolwork and personal well-being challenging.
