The Characteristics of Digital Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation
The characteristics of digital entrepreneurship and digital transformation are complex and important to understand in this digital age. By understanding these characteristics, individuals and organisations may either create new business ventures or transform existing businesses through the development of novel digital technologies. The characteristics are reported by employing the Dynamic Capabilities Theory as the structure. The practice of updating obsolete and outdated business systems to modernized, digital systems can be problematic owing to the irregularities found within these systems. Other challenges related to digital transformation point to occur- renices where existing business models generate sufficient pro fi t to ward off the need for establishing new, digitised products and services for clients to purchase.

An Examination of Factors That Prompt Managers to Enforce Changes in Business
In the current era dominated by dynamic changes across all business platforms, introducing change is the only constant that could help organizations sustain the increasing pressure of global competitiveness. Digital transformation can be referred to as the means for inducing acceleration in the business operations, processes, abilities and business models which strategically and significantly renders a control on the changes, opportunities, and effect of digital technologies. In actual terms, digital transformation is the business transformation. It is recognized that digital business transformations are motivated by technology driven innovation, customer behavior and demand, and external environmental features like competition. From the perspective of digital transformation, business management, processes, assets, models and the operations are interlinked. They are equally contributing and get affected by the implemented change. Digital business transformation is challenging and affects the business structures with strategic positioning and each level of business with its extended supply chain. Business managers need to consistently confront their businesses to make certain that the changes encourage productivity increase and considerable competitive advantage whilst conveying outstanding customer experience. This paper aims to explore and highlight the drivers of change in context of digital transformation and how digital transformation could bring about a change in the conventional business structure.

An Information Systems Design Theory for Service Network Effects
Service platforms make available software applications as a service to end-users. Platforms enable noticeable economic benefits for scaling and transforming a business. Their long-term competitiveness is ensured in controlled cooperation with channel intermediaries and network partners. Hence, service platforms must be designed to harness self-enforcing effects of value generation, so-called network effects. In an exaptation of existing knowledge, we present an information systems design theory to inform the design of methods that analyse, describe, and guide the design of service platforms through the means of causal loops and control methods. We describe the theory’s purpose and scope as well as the underlying justificatory knowledge behind the constructs and principles of form and function. The design theory covers the design of all service platform participants and activities as well as their transactions and influences in areas of staged platform authority, using enforcing and incentivizing control methods. We demonstrate the principles of implementation with an expository instantiation and apply it to the M-Engineering service platform, which offers surveillance, control, and data acquisition solutions. Furthermore, we present and discuss testable propositions and a study design to evaluate our design principles.

Digitalization Impact on Work Quality at the Enterprise Operational Level
The object of research is the work quality of operational staff. One of the most problematic places in the introduction of new production technologies is the adaptation of personnel to digital transformation. Understanding and systematic management actions of managers can lead the company to business growth, make it more flexible through the proper use of digitalization as a potentially important component of business strategy.
Methods of logical generalization and analysis are used in the analysis of literature sources on the research topic. The work quality at the enterprise operational level was considered in two dimensions: the quality of work results and the quality of working life. During the sociological study at machine-building enterprises is developed a conceptual model of the interaction between work tasks, methods of labour organization and technological tools. According to the expert potential consequences assessment of the impact of digitalization on the operational staff work quality, the highest scores are given to the following factors: work intensity; content of work tasks; control over work; learning; motivation and work life balance; health; rights; career management. The Analytical Hierarchy Process, which allows to determine the components of the adaptation system of personnel to digital information and to form an algorithm for choosing the optimal version of the system for the enterprise, is also used.
The results of the presented study confirm the insufficient level of workers and industrial engineers’readiness to implement changes related to the use of digital tools. The results provide a practical basis for the enterprises management to form a hierarchical structure of employee adaptation system to digital transformation. Presented system will be the projects framework for production technologies modernization, labour processes improving, staff training and the successful implementation procuring of digital transformation based on the model of interaction between work tasks, methods and technological tools at the operational level of the enterprise.

“Better Together”: Right Blend of Business Strategy and Digital Transformation Strategies
The area of digital transformation is increasingly drawing the attention of academicians and professionals. However, its relationship with business strategy has not been explored in the literature. To this end, we review the literature and develop a theoretical framework, firmly grounded in strategic choice and dynamic capability view theories, that explores how firms having different business strategies develop their own digital transformation strategy (the four dimensions; use of technologies, changes in value creation, structural changes and financial aspect) and implement it successfully. In addition, the impact of digital transformation implementation on open innovation, firm performance and competitive advantage is studied. Based on a sample of 215 responses from a survey with Bangladesh organizations, we validate the theoretical model and test the research hypotheses using structural equation modelling. Findings reveal business strategy is a very important determinant of implementing digital transformation strategy. Specifically, prospectors are associated with better use of technologies, changes in value creation, structural changes and financial aspects than defenders. Also, prospectors are associated with better implementation of the digital transformation than defenders. Last, digital transformation implementation positively influences open innovation, firm performance and competitive advantage.

A Study on Digital Disruption and Its Impact on Bank Customers in Goa
Because of the emergence of new inventions, the banking industry has been undergoing rapid transformation. The introduction of standalone PCs marked the beginning of the banking sector’s use of data technology, which later advanced to neighbourhood networks. Of all industries, digital is the new expression in style. Along with other industries, banking is also transitioning to digitization on every continent. Banks of all shapes and sizes are investing heavily in digital drives in order to maintain dominance and give their clients the best possible service. Customers have benefited from digitalization as well by utilising credit-only transactions. Customers may now swap money anywhere at any time without having to keep currency on hand. A few corporate banks started making the transition to digital client administrations in order to remain competitive and serious. By embracing newer developments, banks have aided in several ways. The results indicate how cutting-edge bank-to-Balance Tech cooperation arrangements are replacing antiquated, competitive methods in the banking sector. Especially for international banks from rich economies, traditional banking is being disinter mediated into more modest, multi-directional, and multi-modular models, opening up wonderful new prospects.
