Going viral or growing like an Oak Tree? Towards sustainable local development through entrepreneurship.
Kim, suntae and Kim Anna (2022) states that some of the ventures were successful in the different ways. We saw a lot of local impact that stayed in Detroit for many years from the alternative, locally oriented approach. Regional inequality has been further exacerbated in recent decades by globalization and economic deregulation, whose benefits were concentrated in a small number of places. Equity and long – term thinking in access to and use of resources within and between current and future generations.
Adjusting The Sails: Investigating The Feedback Loop Of The Opportunity Development Process In entrepreneurship Training.
Eller et al. (2022) states that Entrepreneurship training can be effective, but research has shown that training programs substantially differ in their impact on short and long- term training outcomes. The first path of the feedback loop is changes in the business opportunity, Goals and performance outcomes and the moderation effect of error orientation. It is important to note that one’s performance expectations develop continuously by experiencing success over time. Results support our hypothesis, suggesting that the feedback loop of the opportunity development process is a concept that can explain why entrepreneurship training is effective.
Women Entrepreneurship: Challenges and Perspectives of An Emerging Economy.
Ahmetaj et al. (2023) states that women Entrepreneurship is certainly a sturdy road to be travelled by women where they have to prove themselves. This study is thought to be of great importance in terms of highlighting the main motivations behind women entrepreneurial initiatives, ass well as the main reasons for female discrimination in entrepreneurial actions, in the hopes of conducting relevant changes and fixing the current situation as a practice for getting closer to European Union Integration.
Personal Characteristics and Intention for Entrepreneurship.
Yalcintas et al. (2023) states that this study analyses the relationship between entrepreneurship intention and personal characteristics. The authors analysed personality variables, according to the five-factor model of personality and found that entrepreneurs scored higher on conscientiousness and openness to experience and scored lower on agreeableness and neuroticism, since self-employment means becoming your own boss. Entrepreneurs possessed two unique characteristics, which were risk- taking and achievement motivation.
Entrepreneurship and geography – some thoughts about a complex relationship.
Sternberg and Rolf (2022) states that entrepreneurship and economic geography are both socio- economic phenomena that recently have grown significantly in terms of academic and policy relevance. Entrepreneurship is the result of the interaction between individual attributes and the surrounding environments. The relationship between entrepreneurship and economic geography from two perspectives , the role of geography within entrepreneurship is addressed, followed by the opposite perception.
Entrepreneurial Choice as the Genesis of Stakeholder Emergence.
Brown et al. (2023) states that entrepreneurs choose and create their stakeholders and thereby enact the context in which the firm will operate. The entrepreneur’s choice can also determine the nature of influence that the stakeholders have on the firm. The process of firm formation therefore partly creates the firm’s stakeholders and chooses their nature. The nature of firm is part determined by the entrepreneur’s choice of value proposition and consequent positioning of the firm’s operations.
Saying ‘Yes’ to Women Entrepreneurship: A SWOT Analysis.
Turaga and Revathi (2023) states that Women entrepreneurs represent the fastest growing category of entrepreneurship worldwide and have received, especially in recent years, a lot of attention. Women entrepreneurs see the world through a different lens and turn, do things differently. Though there are weaknesses and threats for women to venture out in business, the strengths within and from the outside world, as well as the opportunities available are in encouragement for women to venture out and design their life as on entrepreneur and their business around who they are.
State Agency Discretion and Entrepreneurship in Regulated Markets.
Grandy et al. (2020) states that Government institutions regulating markets often have multiple levels, including elected bodies that create policies and the state agencies that interpret and implement them. Our central argument is that regulatory discretion – the formally granted flexibility of regulatory agency officers to interpret and implement public policies created by elected officials- can foster new entry in regulated markets. New firms’ challenges in entering regulated markets, most studies that examine entry into regulated markets focus on policy change.
Opportunities as Artifacts and Entrepreneurship as Design.
Berglund et al. (2020) states that the nature of entrepreneurial opportunities, and in particular their relation to entrepreneurial action under uncertainty, is a matter of intense debate. Most entrepreneurship research is conducted within a natural science paradigm that is premised on the assumption that by better understanding natural phenomenon and how they relate to one and other they will be able to better predict what will happen in the future. Important ally, processes of entrepreneurial design are also fuelled by a wide range of intermediate artifacts, such as business models, pitches, prototypes and landing pages, that fulfil practical as well as cognitive functions.
Has the Concept of Opportunities Been Fruitful in the Field of Entrepreneurship?
Alvarez et al. (2020) states that the concept of opportunities is central to the work. This began to change with an emerging interest in where opportunities come from and how they are exploited. A decision maker’s prior beliefs deeply influence how new information is interpreted in creating or discovering an opportunity. Debates have pointed out the need for additional work, not the need to abandon concept of opportunities.
