(Dişlen,2013)
2) Lack of motivation factors
The study involved 40 participants who completed a questionnaire, and the results showed that lack of motivation was the primary reason for poor performance. This lack of motivation was attributed to factors such as disinterest in the subject matter, inadequate teaching methods, and limited opportunities for interaction with native speakers of English. The article recommends that English department instructors incorporate more interactive teaching methods to increase student engagement and motivation and that universities provide more opportunities for students to interact with native speakers of English.
