Objective – To analyze issue and challenges faced by students in online classes during the phase of Covid-19 pandemic

The end of 2019 to 2020, the world was troubled by the Covid-19 Pandemic, which changed all areas of life. Due to this outbreak, the education system is beholding an extraordinary double-shock temporary school closures  since March 2020, in order to prevent the spread of the virus and disclosing the fragility of education systems worldwide . The learning process, which is usually very common face-to-face in schools, immediately has to adapt to non-face-to-face forms. The majority of instructors tend to make use of the educational methods that maintain and improve students’ motivation & consequently, promote their academic performance.

Perception and Challenges towards Online Classes
Online education is the process that takes place over the internet. It has both benefits and limitations, traveling costs and other costs are reduced in online classes subsequently teachers and students have the technological knowledge to access online classes and use of a computer. In the current scenario of unprecedented crisis, personal interaction of teachers and students got immensely affected due to the contagious nature of COVID-19. It has raised the challenges for students such as social isolation, connectivity issue, etc. Students are from different socio-economic backgrounds and they faced problems in access to laptops or mobiles and connectivity issue.

Impact of Environmental Factors on Academic Performance 
Several authors have defined academic performance as an exhibition of knowledge acquired or skills that are developed due to school subjects, which are evaluated through test scores or grades assigned by the teachers of subjects. Specifically, these new environmental conditions can be uncomfortable and have an impact on the students’ academic performance. Consequently, the present study aims to determine the impact that the lighting, noise, and temperature levels (independent variables) have on academic performance (dependent variable) in university students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Performance, Health, and Psychological Challenges Faced by Students of Physical Education in Online Learning
In this case, confusing high-quality online learning with emergency online learning may impact the performance of teachers and students in the context of sports teaching & may cause some health complications (e.g., weight gain and anxiety), due to a lack of physical activities during online physical education classes. teachers experience confusion and stress because they are often unsure of their obligations and how to maintain connections with students to support learning. . This health crisis will likely have long-term effects on education, so that it could become an opportunity to rethink the curriculum, teaching–learning assessment processes & the development of students’ competencies while strengthening their learning skills and sustaining their motivation. 

Mathematics self-concept and challenges of learners in an online learning environment
The shift from a classroom environment to a home learning environment raises another concern for students.They  may experience difficulty on engaging to mathematics online learning due to limited access to basic online resources .Understanding the mathematics self-concept of the students at the early stages of the implementation of online learning could inform educators to improve or diversify their mathematics online teaching strategies. Hence, it is imperative to understand the relationship of these variables with the mathematics self-concept of the students in an online learning environment.Mathematics anxiety is a complex multidimensional construct because many factors can cause anxiety

ONLINE TEACHING PRACTICES AND THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS
The nature of the teaching and learning processes changes with the use of e-technologies . Most online programs are based on constructivist learning models, which presume that learners are actively involved in the educational process by developing meaningful learning experiences and interacting with teachers and peers to accumulate and create knowledge . Multiple instructional methods needs to be used to increase the effectiveness of the online educational process and compensate for the lack of physical presence of both teachers and students in the same space and time.

Making Room for Zoom in Focus Group Methods
The institution had purchased a Zoom license for faculty and students’ use, but not all faculty and students had used it prior to transitioning online. As COVID-19 spread throughout the world, higher educational institutions relied on synchronous online communication to continue class instruction.. Zoom had been used in “over 6,900 educational institutions. Zoom’s increase in popularity has also presented security challenges with its software and these issues highlight possible ethical concerns and risks to participants when conducting qualitative interviews. For this self-study, seven Zoom-based  online focus groups took place during a two hour and forty-five-minute class period. Hackers began to log into random meeting rooms and cause disruptions. .

Attitude of Faculty Towards Online Teaching and Learning in Relation to Certain Variables
A teacher spends most of the time of a day in planning, organizing and evaluating the students’ work and can deliver his best in cohesive environment only. The online learning also features the flexibility of content communication allowing learners to swot at their own convenience, making learning dynamic and vibrant. During the COVID-19 pandemic, online teaching appeared as panacea for interrupted academic activities making it feasible to continue the teaching-learning processes while keeping the academic fraternity safe at their homes. The faculty members started adapting themselves to the changed virtual academic scenario having new modes of content delivery and teacher-student interaction.

Transformation of learning from real to virtual
Latest e-learning platforms support students, educators and organisations and are also embraced in India by educational institutionsties for marginalised people: India is developing many online learning initiatives to expand access to education. Webinars and live classes on videoconferencing platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams sessions are also popular ways. Online quizzes have been a trend and is getting stronger every day. Isolation can be a grave challenge for many online students. Via their studies they may be wandering collectively as strangers who never really approach each other. Happily, schools and teachers are increasingly involved in this issue.

Graduate Students’ Experience and Academic Achievements with Online Learning 
Distance learning was initially an adjunct form of education that allowed for virtually instant verification of knowledge and educational activities. students stated that online discussions allowed them to interact, exchange ideas, and connect with their professional peers.  While online learning is “access to learning experiences via the use of some technology. Moreover, it is worthy to note that the use of different technologies to create synchronous learning environments for students started decades ago. It began with sharing files and having discussions online. Then, advanced to the use of systems, such as instant chatting and videoconferencing.

Conclusion- There had been many obstacles faced by college students during online learning in Covid-19 pandemic.There had been many students who struggled with online learning during Covid-19 pandemic because they live in rural areas where they have limited internet access.On the other hand, students’ parents also gave significant impact on students’ motivation toward learning. They got scolded because they looked at their phone/laptop screens all the time and could not help the parents with the chores. Thus, there had been multiple pressures taken by the students in the process of learning. Basically, pleasant atmosphere must be built in learning. Even though this pandemic situation has made many people deal with difficulty, there must be something to do to reduce the stress, at least to avoid more pressure.
