Introduction
In todays world the widespread use of YouTube has significantly changed how people engage with content. While YouTube offers a wealth of information and entertainment there are downsides, to its popularity. This article explores the effects of YouTube watching, such as potential harm to mental well being, encouragement of sedentary behavior, disruption of social connections and interference with educational goals. By highlighting these drawbacks we hope to raise awareness and encourage steps to protect health in the digital era. Lets delve into the aspects of YouTubes vast content library and discuss the importance of addressing the risks associated with unrestricted consumption while advocating for informed approaches to minimize its impact on peoples lives.

OH, Sohae Eve et al (2019) stated that 80% of families own mobile devices, with kids spending 97 hours on YouTube. Screen time patterns vary based on factors like family structure and parental availability, impacting demand for goods. The study highlights the negative effects of excessive screen time on children’s development and family dynamics, urging further research for mitigation strategies.
Daily associations between social media use and memory failures: the mediating role of negative affect
Sharifian, Neika et al (2021) stated that Increased social media usage in adulthood is linked to memory failures, as a study explores emotional pathways connecting daily social media use to memory issues. Visiting more sites and spending more time on social media correlate with negative affect, sadness, and guilt. To address memory failures, intervention strategies targeting social media use patterns and emotion regulation may improve cognitive well-being.
Data collection
The survey comprised five questions, each designed to be answered on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strongly Disagree, Neutral, Strongly Agree). Data were gathered from KBS students, achieving a 100% response rate for each question. To analyze responses, we computed the mean, standard deviation, and t-statistic for each question.
