Introduction: – Achieving a harmonious work-life balance is essential for holistic success. By managing time effectively, setting boundaries, and nurturing personal well-being, individuals can optimize their professional performance while ensuring a fulfilling personal life. Balancing these aspects fosters resilience, reduces burnout, and promotes long-term happiness.
Objective: – To understand the underlying phenomenon of this problem.
Literature Review: – It starts by exploring why work-life balance has become an important topic for research and policy in some countries and after outlining traditional perspectives examines the concept of balance and its implications for the study of the relation between work and the rest of life. – David E. In organizations and on the home front, the challenge of work/life balance is rising to the top of many employers’ and employees’ consciousness. In today’s fast-paced society, human resource professionals seek options to positively impact the bottom line of their companies, improve employee morale, retain employees with valuable company knowledge, and keep pace with workplace trends. – Nancy R. - I often find myself working beyond regular office hours or bringing work home.
- I prioritize my personal well-being and family time over work commitments.
- I feel satisfied with the amount of time I can dedicate to personal hobbies and interests outside of work.
- I make conscious efforts to avoid checking work emails or taking calls during personal time.
- I regularly take breaks during the workday to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
These 5 questions were put on the Google form and the form was circulated. For every question mean, standard deviation, standard error, and t-stat was calculated.
