Introduction

  • Amitabh Bachchan– Amitabh Bachchan born as Amitabh Shrivastav 11 October 1942 is an Indian actor, film producer, television host, occasional playback singer and former politician, who works in Hindi cinema. In a film career spanning over five decades, he has starred in more than 200 films. Bachchan is widely regarded as one of the most successful and influential actors in the history of Indian cinema.
  • Kamal Haasan– Kamal Haasan born Parthasarathy Srinivasan on 7 November 1954 is an Indian actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, playback singer, television presenter and politician who works mainly in Tamil cinema. Besides Tamil, he has also appeared in some Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Bengali films. He is considered to be one of the greatest actors in the history of Indian cinema.
  • Aamir Khan– Mohammed Aamir Hussain Khan born 14 March 1965 is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films. Referred to in the media as “Mr. Perfectionist” through his career spanning over 30 years, Khan has established himself as one of the most notable actors of Indian cinema. Khan is the recipient of numerous awards, including nine Filmfare Awards, four National Film Awards, and an AACTA Award, with one of his film productions also receiving an Academy Award nomination. He was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri in 2003 and the Padma Bhushan in 2010 and received an honorary title from the Government of China in 2017.
  • Rajnikanth– Shivaji Rao Gaikwad (born 12 December 1950), known professionally as Rajinikanth is an Indian actor who works mainly in Tamil cinema. In a career spanning over five decades, he has done more than 160 films that includes films in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam. He is widely regarded as one of the most successful and popular actors in the history of Indian cinema. Known for his uniquely styled lines and idiosyncrasies in films, he has a huge fan base internationally and has a cult following. The Government of India honoured him with Padma Bhushan in 2000, Padma Vibhushan in 2016, India’s third and second highest civilian honours, and highest award in the field of cinema Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2019 for his contributions to Indian cinema.

 

Objectives– To compare the grade for four Indian Actors.

Data Collection– Twenty five Students of Kohinoor Business School, Kurla were asked to give grade for four Indian Actors- Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Aamir Khan & Rajinikanth.
