Introduction-
The Covid Pandemic has affected the life of almost everyone in the world. Through the research we are aiming to conclude whether the pandemic has affected certain aspects of the personal life of people, especially of the students and the professional office workers.
Objective-
To get the views of people on how their personal life was affected during the lockdown due to Covid.
Data collection-
For the given problem five questions were framed on Likert scale.
Following are the five questions-
1) I spent more time with my family during the lockdown
2) I often helped my family with daily chores during the lockdown
3) I watched several movies/series with my family during the lockdown
4) I couldn’t spend time with family because of work overload
5) I couldn’t meet my family because of lockdown
We prepared a Google form, containing the questions, which was sent to college students, the employees of an IT company and to certain other people randomly. A total of 100 people responded to the survey.
The options provided on the Likert scale were “Strongly Disagree”, “Disagree”, “Neutral”, “Agree” and “Strongly Agree”.
We converted the collected data into an excel sheet, and the result was calculated with the formula: –
Z=(X-µ)/SE,
where µ was taken as ‘3’. (Since the scale was from 1 to 5)
