Introduction:<\/span><\/b> This study aims to identify the most preferred fast food item among the public by comparing popular options such as Vada Pav, Chinese Manchurian, Pani Puri, and Momos. A survey was conducted to collect responses based on individual preferences and ratings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Literature Review:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>A study on street food consumption patterns in urban India found that affordability, taste, and convenience are the primary factors influencing consumer preferences. Popular items such as Vada Pav and Pani Puri were highly preferred due to their cultural familiarity and easy availability. The study also highlighted that younger consumers tend to experiment with options like Momos and Chinese Manchurian.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Research on fast food preferences among college students revealed that taste, price, and peer influence significantly affect food choices. The findings showed a growing inclination towards fusion and Indo-Chinese foods like Manchurian and Momos, while traditional street foods continue to dominate due to their affordability. Statistical tools such as ANOVA were used to identify significant differences in preferences across food categories.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Data Collection: <\/span><\/b>A survey was done to find out of fast food preferences of people. This survey was conducted through google forms and the data collected was further analyzed using statistical tools like ANOVA to draw meaningful conclusions. This study provides insights into popular food choices among the general public. <\/span><\/p>\n

Data Analysis:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

A one-way ANOVA test was conducted to examine whether there is a significant difference in the average ratings of four food items: Vada Pav, Chinese Manchurian, Pani Puri, and Momos. From the summary statistics, Pani Puri (mean = 8.30) has the highest average rating, followed by Vada Pav (mean = 8.08), while Chinese Manchurian (mean = 6.92) and Momos (mean = 6.84) have relatively lower average ratings. This indicates some visible variation in preferences among the groups. The ANOVA results show that the F-value (3.14) is greater than the F critical value (2.67). Additionally, the p-value (0.027) is less than the significance level of 0.05. This provides sufficient statistical evidence to reject the null hypothesis.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Conclusion:<\/span><\/b> Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a statistically significant difference in the mean ratings of at least one of the food items. In other words, all food items are not rated equally by respondents.<\/span> There is a significant difference in preferences among the four food items, with Pani Puri and Vada Pav receiving higher average ratings compared to Chinese Manchurian and Momos.<\/span><\/p>\n
