Introduction<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sleep is an essential\u00a0<\/span>component<\/span>\u00a0of physical and mental well-being. For students, proper sleep plays\u00a0<\/span>an important role<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0<\/span>maintaining<\/span>\u00a0concentration, productivity, and overall academic performance. However, due to academic pressure, increased use of mobile phones, and late-night activities, many students experience irregular sleep patterns. Poor sleep habits may lead to fatigue, reduced focus, and decreased productivity during the day. Therefore, it is important to understand students\u2019 sleeping patterns and their impact on daily life and academic activities.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Objective<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The main\u00a0<\/span>objective<\/span>\u00a0of this study is to understand the sleep habits of students and\u00a0<\/span>analyze<\/span>\u00a0how sleep affects their concentration, energy levels, and productivity.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Literature Review<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Several studies have highlighted the importance of sleep for students’ academic and mental health. According to research by Hershner and Chervin (2014), insufficient sleep among students negatively affects attention, memory, and academic performance. Another study by Lund et al. (2010) found that irregular sleep schedules and late-night technology use are common among students and significantly influence their sleep quality and daytime functioning. These studies emphasize the need to understand students\u2019 sleep habits and their effects on daily activities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Data Collection<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Data for this study was collected through a survey using\u00a0<\/span>Google Forms<\/span>. The questionnaire was based on a\u00a0<\/span>Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5<\/span>, where:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

<\/span>2 \u2013 Disagree<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>

A total of\u00a0<\/span>100 student responses<\/span>\u00a0were collected. The survey included five questions related to sleep patterns, mobile usage at night, concentration levels, tiredness during the day, and productivity related to sleep.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

            The results show that students are\u00a0<\/span>generally neutral<\/span>\u00a0about getting enough sleep every day. However, the survey\u00a0<\/span>indicates<\/span>\u00a0that late-night mobile use significantly affects students’ sleep patterns. Many students agree that lack of sleep affects their concentration and makes them feel tired during the day. Additionally, students strongly believe that good sleep improves their productivity and academic performance.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

            Conclusion<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

            \n

            The findings of this study highlight the importance of healthy sleep habits among students. While many students do not consistently get sufficient sleep, they recognize that lack of sleep negatively affects their concentration and daily energy levels. Late-night mobile phone usage is one of the key factors influencing poor sleep habits. Overall, the study shows that\u00a0<\/span>maintaining<\/span>\u00a0proper sleep routines can improve students\u2019 productivity, concentration, and academic performance.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
