Introduction<\/span><\/b>:<\/span> This research examines the consumption habits of students regarding fast food, particularly pizza and burgers. It explores the frequency and patterns of consumption among students and the factors that influence their food choices. Fast food has become increasingly popular among young people due to its convenience, taste, and easy availability near educational institutions. Studies indicate that a large proportion of students regularly consume fast food items such as pizza and burgers as part of their daily or weekly diet. <\/span><\/p>\n

By analysing students\u2019 responses, this study aims to understand how often students consume pizza and burgers and identify trends in their eating habits. The findings will help highlight the role of fast food in students\u2019 lifestyles and provide insights into their dietary preferences.<\/span><\/p>\n

Objectives: Research on fast-food habits commonly focuses on identifying how often students consume such foods and the factors influencing their eating patterns. <\/span><\/p>\n

Literature Review<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Several studies have examined the consumption patterns of fast food among students, highlighting the growing popularity of items such as pizza and burgers. Research shows that fast food is commonly consumed by students due to its convenience, taste, affordability, and easy availability near educational institutions. <\/span><\/p>\n

A study conducted among university students found that pizza and burgers are among the most preferred fast-food items, and many students consume fast food at least once or twice a week. The main reasons for this preference include taste, social influence from friends, and the quick preparation of fast food. <\/span><\/p>\n

Another research study on students\u2019 eating habits reported that a large percentage of students regularly consume fast food, with pizza being one of the most commonly chosen items. The study also highlighted that the busy lifestyle of students and limited time for cooking contribute to the frequent consumption of fast food. <\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, previous studies suggest that fast food consumption among students is widespread, and items such as pizza and burgers form an important part of their dietary choices. These studies help provide a foundation for understanding the frequency and patterns of pizza and burger consumption among students, which is the focus of the present research.<\/span><\/p>\n

Data Collection<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The data for this study was collected through a structured questionnaire survey conducted among students. A Google Form was prepared containing five close-ended questions related to the consumption of pizza and burgers, measured using a five-point Likert scale where 1 represented strongly disagree and 5 represented strongly agree.<\/span><\/p>\n

A total of 100 students participated in the survey, and their responses were collected online. The collected data was downloaded into an Excel sheet and analysed using statistical measures such as Mean, Standard Deviation (SD), Standard Error (SE), and T-statistics to understand the consumption patterns of students. Surveys using questionnaires are commonly used in research because they allow researchers to collect information from many respondents in a structured and organized way. <\/span><\/p>\n

The results of the data analysis show negative T-statistics for all five questions, indicating a negative outcome according to the decision rule used in the study. This suggests that the responses do not strongly support the statements regarding frequent consumption of pizza and burgers among students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although the mean values indicate that some students consume pizza and burgers, the negative statistical results suggest that the overall tendency toward regular consumption is not strongly supported by the hypothesis tested in this research. Therefore, the study concludes that the expected positive relationship between students and frequent pizza and burger consumption was not confirmed by the statistical analysis.<\/span><\/p>\n

In survey research, responses are often measured using a Likert scale, where participants rate their level of agreement or disagreement with statements on a numerical scale<\/span><\/p>\n
