Introduction of problem: <\/span><\/p>\n

Online learning has become an important part of modern education with the increasing use of digital technology and the internet. It allows students to attend classes and access study materials from anywhere. However, despite its convenience, many students face challenges such as lack of interaction with teachers, technical issues, and difficulty staying focused. These problems can affect the overall learning experience and understanding of students. Therefore, this survey aims to identify the common problems students face during online learning.<\/span><\/p>\n

Objective:<\/span><\/p>\n

To understand the underline phenomena of \u201cOnline learning\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Literature review:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Testing Theories of Goal Progress in Online Learning by Lu, J., Bradlow, E. T., & Hutchinson, J. W. (2022). examines learner behavior in online courses and explains that students show different engagement patterns depending on their motivation, learning goals, and progress in completing lectures and quizzes. It also finds that student motivation often increases at the beginning of the course but may decrease later due to time constraints and reduced engagement.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Relationship between online learning and mental well-being of the college students by Ignaciammal, A., & Muthupandi, P. (2022). The study found that online learning has a significant effect on the mental and physical well-being of college students, highlighting the relationship between online learning levels and students\u2019 mental health.<\/span><\/p>\n

Data collection:<\/span><\/p>\n

To understand the underline issues in following five questions where framed to be answered on liker scale.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>I find online learning easy.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>I can learn anytime online <\/span><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>I learn new things through online classes. <\/span><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>I stay focused during online classes. <\/span><\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>I enjoy online learning. <\/span><\/p>\n

A google form was prepared and our friends from KBS where requested to fill the form which had linear scale 1 for strongly disagree and 5 for strongly agree. The data was downloaded in excel sheet 100 persons where survey for every question Mean, Standard Deviation(SD), Standard Error(SE) and T-stat were calculated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students generally agree that online learning allows them to study anytime with flexibility.<\/span><\/p>\n

The results show that students believe they can gain new knowledge through online class.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students somewhat agree that they can stay focused during online learning, but the level of focus is moderate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, students have a positive attitude and enjoy online learning to some extent.<\/span><\/p>\n
