INTRODUCTION<\/span><\/b>:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>This survey was conducted to assess public opinion on the best metro city to live in India among Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore using a simple rating method. Respondents were asked to rate each city on a scale of 1 to 10 based on their overall perception and preference. The purpose is to compare these cities using the average ratings and identify which metro city is most preferred for living. The results offer a clear and quantitative comparison of public preferences.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

OBJECTIVE: <\/span><\/b>The objective of this survey is to compare the cities based on respondents\u2019 ratings to identify the most preferred metro city to live in.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

LITRATURE REVIEW<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Previous studies on urban livability rankings indicate that public perception-based rating methods are widely used to compare metro cities in terms of overall quality of life, infrastructure, and opportunities. Such rating-scale surveys provide a simple and effective way to quantify citizens\u2019 preferences.<\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Research on city competitiveness and livability shows that comparative evaluations using numerical scores help in identifying the most preferred cities for residence and migration. These studies conclude that aggregate ratings reflect the overall attractiveness of a city from a resident\u2019s perspective.<\/p>\n

DATA COLLECTION: <\/span><\/b>To understand student\u2019s preferences to live in among the metro cities , ratings were collected on a scale ranging from 1 to 10. A total of 40 students participated in the survey, and the collected data were analyzed using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) to identify any significant differences in city preference.<\/span><\/p>\n
