Visiting the library was a valuable and enriching experience. It provided a quiet and focused environment that helped me concentrate better on my studies. I explored various books, journals, and reference materials related to my subject. The visit enhanced my knowledge and improved my research skills. Overall, it was a productive and informative experience<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

LITERATURE REVIEW: <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Review 1:\u00a0Obsolescence of Books in College Libraries<\/i>\u00a0(Charles F. Gosnell)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

This paper is a pioneering quantitative study that explains how the usefulness of library books declines with age. Gosnell effectively applies statistical methods to demonstrate discipline-wise differences in obsolescence rates. The study highlights that obsolescence is intellectual rather than physical in nature. It remains foundational for collection development and weeding policies in academic libraries.<\/p>\n

Q1<\/span><\/b>. <\/span>\u2060<\/span>I believe having some fiction books might help get more people in the library.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q2<\/span><\/b>. <\/span>\u2060<\/span>I believe that the Air Conditioning should work continuously, as in summers it gets warm quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q3<\/span><\/b>. <\/span>\u2060<\/span>I believe that the current academic schedule allows me to visit library often.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q4<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>\u2060<\/span>I find the environment in the library comfortable enough to study, which helps me focus for a long time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q5<\/span><\/b>. I believe the library holds relevant books for the curriculum as well as for reading purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n

A google form was framed with above questions, on 5-point s – cale and responses were coded as<\/span><\/p>\n

5 \u2013 Strongly agree, 4 \u2013 Agree, 3 \u2013 Neutral, 2 \u2013 Disagree, <\/span>1 \u2013 Strongly Disagree<\/span><\/p>\n

Data was downloaded as a excel sheet and for every question Mean, Standard Deviation, Standard Error and T-Stat were calculated. <\/span><\/p>\n
