Introduction:<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n

With the rapid growth of online food delivery and grocery services in India, applications such as Swiggy, Zomato, Zepto, and Bigbasket have become essential to consumers\u2019 daily purchasing habits. Due to increasing competition, understanding customer satisfaction levels is critical for service providers. Consumer ratings reflect perceptions regarding service quality, delivery speed, pricing, and overall experience.<\/span>
<\/span>
<\/span>This study applies Single-Factor ANOVA to determine whether there is a significant difference in consumer ratings among the selected food delivery applications.<\/span><\/p>\n

Objectives of the Study:<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n

\u2022 To study consumer ratings of Swiggy, Zomato, Zepto, and Bigbasket.<\/span>
<\/span>\u2022 To compare the mean ratings of selected food delivery applications.<\/span>
<\/span>\u2022 To identify whether differences in ratings are statistically significant using Single-Factor ANOVA.<\/span><\/p>\n

Data Collection:<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n

Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire. Respondents were asked to rate each food delivery application on a scale of 1 to <\/span>10<\/span>, where 1 indicates very poor service and <\/span>10<\/span>\u00a0indicates excellent service.<\/span>
<\/span>
<\/span>Each application received an equal number of responses, making the total sample size 160.<\/span><\/p>\n

Studied Variables:<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n

Independent Variable: Food delivery application (Swiggy, Zomato, Zepto, Bigbasket).<\/span>
<\/span>Dependent Variable: Consumer rating score.<\/span><\/p>\n

Statistical Tool Used:<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n

Single-Factor ANOVA is used to test whether the mean ratings of the selected food delivery applications differ significantly. This technique compares the variance between groups with the variance within groups.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hypotheses:<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n

Null Hypothesis (H\u2080): There is no significant difference in the mean ratings of Swiggy, Zomato, Zepto, and <\/span>Big-basket<\/span>.<\/span>
<\/span>Alternative Hypothesis (H\u2081): There is a significant difference in the mean ratings of at least one food delivery application.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ANOVA results indicate that there is no statistically significant difference in the mean consumer ratings of Swiggy, Zomato, Zepto, and Bigbasket.<\/span><\/p>\n

The study reveals that consumers rate the selected food delivery applications similarly. This suggests that all four platforms provide comparable levels of service quality and customer satisfaction.
