Introduction<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>In today\u2019s academic environment, campus Wi-Fi plays a crucial role in supporting learning, research, and communication among students. With the increasing use of online learning platforms, digital libraries, and academic portals, reliable internet connectivity has become a basic necessity on college campuses. However, students often face issues such as slow speed, unstable connections, and limited accessibility in certain areas of the campus. These challenges can negatively impact academic productivity and overall student satisfaction.<\/span><\/p>\n

This study aims to understand students\u2019 perceptions regarding campus Wi-Fi services and identify key areas where improvements are required.<\/span><\/p>\n

Impact of Internet Connectivity on Academic Performance<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Sharma and Verma (2020) studied the importance of internet access in higher education institutions and found that reliable campus Wi-Fi significantly improves students\u2019 academic efficiency. Poor connectivity leads to delays in assignments, reduced participation in online learning, and lower satisfaction levels among students.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Student Satisfaction with Campus Digital Infrastructure<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Kumar and Singh (2018) analyzed student satisfaction related to digital facilities in Indian colleges. Their findings revealed that inconsistent Wi-Fi connectivity and limited coverage areas were major concerns among students, emphasizing the need for better infrastructure planning and regular monitoring of campus networks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Data Collection<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>To understand the underlying issues of Campus Wi-Fi Satisfaction. Following 5 questions are framed on Likert scale (5-point scale). A google form was framed with linear scale 1 to 5. Data was coded as 5 for strongly agree, 4 for agree, 3 for neutral, 2 for disagree and 1 for strongly disagree. 100 students of ITM were surveyed and data was downloaded as excel sheet. For each question mean, standard deviation, standard error and t statistics was calculated.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

People do not consider Wi-Fi connectivity is stable throughout campus.<\/span><\/p>\n

People cannot access Wi-Fi easily on mobile devices.<\/span><\/p>\n

People do not believe that<\/span> Wi-Fi helps with academic tasks (assignments, research, classes).<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, People are not satisfied with the campus Wi-Fi service.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span> <\/u><\/b><\/p>\n
