Each device offers different levels of convenience, functionality, and user experience. This study aims to analyze consumer preferences for four commonly used digital devices\u2014<strong data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"804\">Laptop, Smartphone, Tablet, and Kindle<\/strong>\u2014by comparing consumer ratings. Understanding these preferences helps identify significant differences in consumer perception and usage patterns.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"951\" data-end=\"954\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"975\"><strong data-start=\"959\" data-end=\"973\">Objective:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"976\" data-end=\"1066\">To compare consumer ratings for selected digital devices using a Single-Factor ANOVA test.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1068\" data-end=\"1071\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"1073\" data-end=\"1100\"><strong data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1098\">Literature Review:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 data-start=\"1102\" data-end=\"1155\"><strong data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1153\">1) Consumer preferences for digital devices<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1496\">Davis (2017) highlighted that consumer choice of digital devices depends on perceived usefulness, ease of use, and task suitability. Previous studies indicate that laptops are generally preferred for productivity, while smartphones dominate daily communication. Tablets and e-readers serve niche purposes, influencing their overall ratings.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1556\"><strong data-start=\"1502\" data-end=\"1554\">2) Use of ANOVA in technology preference studies<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1870\">Malhotra (2019) stated that ANOVA is a widely accepted statistical tool in consumer and technology research for comparing mean responses across multiple alternatives. The literature suggests that significant differences in mean ratings indicate varied consumer expectations and usage behavior across device types.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1872\" data-end=\"1875\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"1877\" data-end=\"1902\"><strong data-start=\"1880\" data-end=\"1900\">Data Collection:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"2305\">Primary data was collected using a <strong data-start=\"1938\" data-end=\"1978\">structured Google Form questionnaire<\/strong>. Respondents were asked to rate four digital devices\u2014<strong data-start=\"2032\" data-end=\"2074\">Laptop, Smartphone, Tablet, and Kindle<\/strong>\u2014on a scale of <strong data-start=\"2089\" data-end=\"2100\">1 to 10<\/strong> based on their preference or usage satisfaction. A total of <strong data-start=\"2161\" data-end=\"2179\">38 respondents<\/strong> participated in the survey. The collected data was analyzed in <strong data-start=\"2243\" data-end=\"2262\">Microsoft Excel<\/strong> using a <strong data-start=\"2271\" data-end=\"2294\">Single-Factor ANOVA<\/strong> data-start=\"2946\" data-end=\"2971\">H\u2080 (Null Hypothesis):<\/strong> There is no significant difference in consumer ratings among Laptop, Smartphone, Tablet, and Kindle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3075\" data-end=\"3180\">\n<p data-start=\"3077\" data-end=\"3180\"><strong data-start=\"3077\" data-end=\"3109\">H\u2081 (Alternative Hypothesis):<\/strong> At least one digital device differs significantly in consumer ratings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3182\" data-end=\"3481\">Since the <strong data-start=\"3192\" data-end=\"3210\">p-value (0.00)<\/strong> is <strong data-start=\"3214\" data-end=\"3232\">less than 0.05<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"3241\" data-end=\"3270\">calculated F value (4.94)<\/strong> is <strong data-start=\"3274\" data-end=\"3318\">greater than the critical F value (2.67)<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"3324\" data-end=\"3360\">null hypothesis (H\u2080) is rejected<\/strong>. This indicates that there is a <strong data-start=\"3393\" data-end=\"3433\">statistically significant difference<\/strong> in consumer ratings among the selected devices.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"3483\" data-end=\"3486\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"3488\" data-end=\"3508\"><strong data-start=\"3491\" data-end=\"3506\">Conclusion:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3509\" data-end=\"3995\">The ANOVA results reveal that consumer ratings for digital devices differ significantly. <strong data-start=\"3598\" data-end=\"3645\">Laptops received the highest average rating<\/strong>, indicating strong preference due to their versatility and productivity features. Smartphones ranked second, followed by tablets, while <strong data-start=\"3782\" data-end=\"3827\">Kindle received the lowest average rating<\/strong>, suggesting limited usage or niche appeal among respondents.
