Introduction<\/u><\/strong>:<\/strong> This report explores the rating of Indian street food which people eat pani puri, pav bhaji, vada pav , sev puri. Pani\u00a0Puri\u00a0consists\u00a0of\u00a0crispy,\u00a0hollow\u00a0puris\u00a0filled\u00a0with\u00a0spicy,\u00a0tangy\u00a0water\u00a0(pani),\u00a0tamarind\u00a0chutney,\u00a0chili,\u00a0chaat\u00a0masala,\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0potato,\u00a0onion,\u00a0and\u00a0chickpeas.\u00a0Each\u00a0puri\u00a0is\u00a0a\u00a0delightful\u00a0explosion\u00a0of\u00a0taste,\u00a0offering\u00a0a\u00a0perfect\u00a0balance\u00a0of\u00a0spice,\u00a0sweetness,\u00a0tanginess,\u00a0and\u00a0crunch. Originated in Bihar or Uttar Pradesh.<\/p>\n

Pav Bhaji is an iconic Indian street food that hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra. It’s a rich, flavorful dish composed of a spicy vegetable mash (bhaji) served with buttery, toasted\u00a0 bread rolls (pav).<\/p>\n

Vada Pav, often referred to as the Indian burger, is a beloved street food that originates from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Vada: A spicy potato fritter coated in gram flour batter and deep-fried to golden perfection. Pav: soft,fluffy,bread rolls served with the vada<\/p>\n

Sev Puri is a popular Indian street food, known for its delightful combination of flavors and textures. Base: Crisp puris \u00a0: A medley of diced potatoes, onions, and tomatoes. Chutneys: Spicy green chutney. Sev: Thin, crunchy strands of gram flour<\/p>\n

Objective<\/u><\/strong>: <\/strong>To find out all are same or any one of them is different between the preferred Indian street food among the participant.<\/p>\n

Data Collection:<\/u><\/strong> 27 students of ITM Business School were surveyed. They rated these apps on a scale of 1 to 10 via a Google Form, with 1 representing the lowest preference and 10 the highest. Following the data collection, the ANOVA: Single Factor test was then performed to compare the means of the ratings across the four street food.<\/p>\n

The hypotheses for the test are: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Null Hypothesis (H\u2080): <\/strong>There is no significant difference in the average ratings of Pani puri ,Pav Bhaji, Sev Puri, Vada pav<\/p>\n

Alternative Hypothesis (H\u2081): <\/strong>There is a significant difference in the average ratings of at least one pair of Pani puri ,Pav Bhaji, Sev Puri, Vada pav<\/p>\n

F-value: 1.8052 P-value: 0.1517, F critical value: 2.703<\/p>\n

If the P-value is less than the significance level (commonly 0.05), we reject the null hypothesis and accept alternate hypothesis and if P-value is more than the significance level (commonly 0.05), we reject the alternate hypothesis and accept null hypothesis.<\/p>\n

Conclusion<\/u><\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since the P-value<\/strong> is 0.1517<\/strong> , <\/strong>which is more \u00a0than the 0.05 significance level, we Reject<\/strong> the Alternative Hypothesis (H\u2081)<\/strong>. indicating that there is no significant difference in the average ratings of Pani puri ,Pav Bhaji, Sev Puri, Vada pav<\/p>\n

Therefore, the Null Hypothesis (H\u2080)<\/strong> is accepted<\/strong>, indicating that preferences \u00a0does not vary among them.<\/p>\n
