They can include nutrition, avoidance of excessive sun exposure, and appropriate use of emollients. Practices that enhance appearance include the use o<span style=\"color: #000000\">f\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cosmetics\">cosmetics<\/a>,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Botulinum\">botulinum<\/a>,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Exfoliation_(cosmetology)\">exfoliation<\/a>,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Injectable_filler\">fillers<\/a>,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Laser_resurfacing\">laser resurfacing<\/a>,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Microdermabrasion\">microdermabrasion<\/a>, peels,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Retinol\">retinol<\/a>\u00a0therapy,\u00a0and ultrasonic skin treatment.\u00a0Skin care is a routine<\/span> daily procedure in many settings, such as skin that is either too dry or too moist, and prevention of\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000\"><a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dermatitis\">dermatitis<\/a>\u00a0and prevention of skin injuries. Skin care is a part of the treatment of\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wound_healing\">wound healing<\/a>,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Radiation_therapy\">radiation therapy<\/a>\u00a0and some medications. A statistical method, ANOVA: Single Factor, is used to deter<\/span>mine if there is a significant difference in the ratings given to these skin care products.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Objective<\/u><\/strong>-To find out if there are significant differences in the preferences (ratings) of ITM students for skin care products.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong><u>Data Collection<\/u>:<\/strong>\u00a0Students of ITM Business School were surveyed. Each student rated four skin care products like Moisturizer, Sunscreen, Serum and Lip Balm on a scale of 1 to 10, were 1 indicates low preference and 10 indicates high preference. The ratings for each genre were recorded for analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Data Analysis-<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ANOVA: Single Factor test was performed to compare the means of the ratings across the four Skin Care Products.<\/p>\n<p>The hypotheses for the test are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Null Hypothesis (H<sub>0<\/sub>): There is no significant difference in the average ratings of Moisturizer, Sunscreen, Serum and Lip Balm.<\/li>\n<li>Alternate Hypothesis (H<sub>1<\/sub>) At least one of the Skin Care Products has a significantly different average rating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The results of
