Between Groups SS (57.67) assesses the variability due to differences between groups, while Within Groups SS (811.53) measures the spread within each group. Degrees of Freedom (df) are 3 for Between Groups and 116 for Within Groups. Mean Square (MS) for Between Groups is 19.22 and 6.996 for Within Groups.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Null\u00a0Hypothesis\u00a0(H\u2080):<\/strong> There is no significant difference in the mean ratings of Cadbury Dairy Milk, KitKat, Ferrero Rocher, and Hershey&#8217;s Kisses. (The means of the groups are equal.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alternative\u00a0Hypothesis\u00a0(H\u2081):<\/strong> There is a significant difference in the mean ratings of at least one pair of Cadbury Dairy Milk, KitKat, Ferrero Rocher, and Hershey&#8217;s Kisses. (At least one group mean is different.)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>F-Value<\/strong> of <strong>2.748<\/strong> is the ratio of these MS values. The critical value of F at a 0.05 significance level is 2.683. With a <strong>P-value<\/strong> of <strong>0.046<\/strong>, <strong>less<\/strong> than the <strong>0.05<\/strong> significance level, we reject the null hypothesis (no difference between group means), indicating a significant difference between the chocolate brands&#8217; ratings. This implies that consumer preferences vary significantly among these brands.
